376 recruits of 233rd intake pass out in Poonewa
The passing out parade of 376 regular and volunteer recruits belonging to the 233rd intake was held on 24th November 2018 at the main parade ground of SLNS Shiksha in Poonewa, marking the completion of their 06 month basic training course.

Navy grabs several victories at ‘RCYC LOGAN Cup’ sailing regatta
‘RCYC LOGAN Cup’ sailing regatta organized by Royal Ceylon Yacht Club was held successfully at Bolgoda lake on 17th November. About thirty two (32) contestants on 20 yachts participated in this year’s mega event representing Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Club, Ceylon Motor Yacht Club and Royal College, Colombo.
