NSVU President inquires into the well-being of differently abled war veterans
The President Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne on 23rd April 2021 paid a visit to the ‘Anchorage Naval Care Centre’ and inquired into the well-being of differently abled war veterans occupying there. The Navy Seva Vanitha Unit sponsored the construction of this dedicated Naval Care Centre for the benefit of war veterans who got disabled during active service.

Emergency Treatment Unit for Navy Kennels opened at SLNS Gemunu
The new Emergency Treatment Unit, built under the patronage of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, for canines at Navy Kennels was declared open by the President Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne at Sri Lanka Naval Ship (SLNS) Gemunu in Welisara on 23rd April 2021.
