Navy rescues a person drowning in the Kalu Ganga
The timely action of the naval personnel attached to the Rapid Response Rescue and Release Squadron (4Rs) enabled to save a life of a young person who was drowning in the Kalu Ganga on 18th May 2014.

Navy recovers 04 kilograms of Gelignite & 360 detonators
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijayaba of the Eastern Naval Command on information received recovered 30 Gelignite sticks weighting 04 kilograms and 360 non-electrical detonators in the general area of Iluppukulam in Nilaweli on 23rd May 2014.
