Special search operations conducted by the Navy this morning (16th June 2021) in the beach areas of Konthampiddi, Mannar and Arippu in Silawathura led to the seizure of over 370kg of smuggled dried turmeric and apprehension of 02 suspects in connection with the racket as well as over 294kg of Kendu leaves respectively.
