Naval mobile boat patrol in place for safety of peoples’ property in Megoda Kolonnawa
Sri Lanka Navy has commenced a mobile boat patrol since tonight (06th June 2021) to provide security to the houses and properties of the people displaced due to the floods in the Megoda Kolonnawa area.

Navy rescues 27 more flood victims in Gampaha district
The Navy today (06th June 2021) managed to rescue 27 individuals, including children and women, affected by floods in Ja-Ela area in the Gampaha district, with the onset of showery weather condition. Upon being rescued, these persons were swiftly accommodated in safe locations and facilitated with relief measures.
