Navy assists apprehension of suspect for possession of shotgun and ammunition
The Navy and Police STF managed to apprehend a suspect for illegal possession of a shotgun, its ammunition and several other illegal items, during a special search operation conducted at 4th Mile Post, on Puttalam main road on 23rd September 2020.

Ten (10) suspects with narcotic drugs held with Navy’s assistance
A number of special search operations conducted by the Navy and Police in the Western, Eastern, and Northwestern Naval Commands during the past couple of days had led to the apprehension of 01 female and 09 male suspects for possession of heroin, Kerala cannabis and controlled drugs.
