The Netherlands Government signed an MoU with the Sri Lankan Government today (16) at the Ministry of Defence on provision of services to the Netherlands Merchant Vessel Protection Detachments (VPDs) operating in the Indian Ocean.

Coast Guard personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command recovered a consignment of heroin weighing 9.3 kg floating in the Northern Seas 8 Nm off the Kankesanthurei harbour today (12).
