Naval personnel onboard Fast Attack Craft attached to the Northern Naval Command on routine patrol apprehended 08 Indian fishermen along with 02 fishing trawlers for poaching in the Sri Lankan territorial waters northeast of Kachchatheevu and west of Delft island yesterday (18 November 2017).

The Offshore Patrol Vessel SLNS Sagara, during its routine patrol in northern waters, apprehended 10 Indian fishermen along with a fishing trawler for poaching in the Sri Lankan territorial waters northeast of Point Pedro Lighthouse in the early hours of yesterday (16th November).
