Navy grants one million rupees as death compensation

The Sri Lanka Navy donated one million rupees as death compensation under the Navy's healthcare scheme, "Naviru Saviya," to the wife of the late Leading Diver KASC Kumara of the Diving Branch in Regular Naval Force at their house situated at Galenbindunuweva today (9), having paid the last respects to the departed SLN member and conveying the condolences of the entire Navy to his family members.

Navy nabs a suspect with 6 .370 kg of Water Gel Sticks

On receipt of an intelligence tip-off naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command personnel in a joint operation together with personnel of the Anti Corruption Squad in Trincomalee nabbed a suspect in possession of 49 Water Gel Sticks weighing of 6.370 at Erankandi today (9).
