Two more Reverse Osmosis plants declared open
 

Following a visionary concept of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, 2 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants produced by the Navy Research and Development Unit, were declared open at the Vidyadhara Pirivena in Anuradhapura and Morawaka, Deniyaya, today (June,13).

Navy crowned Dialog Rugby Inter Club 7’s champions for the first time
 

Navy clinched its first ever championship at the Dialog Rugby Inter Club 7’s Championship which worked off on 11th June 2017 at the Racecourse Ground, Colombo. Beating the CR & FC by 21 points to 17 the Navy managed to clinch the title with crowning glory.

Chief of Naval Staff – Pakistan Navy meets with Commander of the Navy
 

The Chief of Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah who is on a three day official visit to Sri Lanka, met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters today (12th June). The visiting Pakistan Navy Chief was accorded with a Guard of Honour in accordance with naval traditions upon his arrival.
