The Navy in collaboration with the Ministry of Health has extended its assistance to the National Dengue Control Programme conducted under the guidance of the National Dengue Control Unit.

Navy deploys rescue teams in lakes to protect Poson devotees
Considering the possible risks of drowning in lakes during the Poson season, the Sri Lanka Navy has deployed 20 boats at selected lakes round the clock for 7 days with effect from 31st May 2015.
