Sri Lanka Navy arrested 2 persons who were attempting to smuggle approximately 5 kg of Gold to India by a fishing boat yesterday (6) evening.

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Gajaba located in Mannar belonging to North Central Naval Command, arrested 5 fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities using explosives in the sea area off South Bar in Mannar yesterday (5).
