SLN arrests 04 Indian fishermen poaching in SL waters
Naval personnel on board SLN Gun Boat, Edithara II attached to the Northern Naval Command arrested four Indian fishermen along with a trawler for poaching in Sri Lankan waters 11.8 nautical miles west of Delft island yesterday (04 October 2017).

15 reverse osmosis plants bestowed on the public under the guidance of the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease
Utilizing the funds provided by the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease, the Sri Lanka Navy, the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Customs, another 15 reverse osmosis plants, designed by the Navy’s Research and Development Unit, were vested in the general public.
