Scholarships were granted to 52 children of heroic naval personnel at a ceremony held at the Admiral Somathilaka Dissanayaka auditorium of SLNS Parakrama on 26th January 2016.

Sri Lanka Navy conducts Naval Exercise with Indian Naval ships off Colombo
On completion of their four-day visit, the Indian naval aircraft carrier “INS Vikramaditya” and “INS Mysore”, joined with Sri Lankan Naval Ships “Sayura”, “Samudura” and three Fast Attack Craft in the seas off Colombo for a combined five-hour naval exercise on 24th January 2016.
