Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne attended the Official Launching Ceremony of the Master of Science in Military Medicine, held at the Army Hospital Auditorium on 23rd July 2020, headed by Secretary of Defence, Major General (Rtd) Kamal Gunaratna as the Chief Guest.

New Commander of the Navy calls on Chief Prelate of Malwathu Chapter to receive blessings
Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne after assuming office as Commander of the Navy, visited the Malwathu Maha Viharaya in Kandy and called on the Chief Prelate of Malwathu Chapter to receive the blessings on 22nd July 2020. The occasion was also attended by Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne, the beloved wife of Commander of the Navy as well as the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.

Commander of the Navy visits Mahanayake of Asgiriya Chapter
Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, after assuming office as Commander of the Navy, visited the Asgiriya Maha Viharaya in Kandy and called on the Mahanayake of Asgiriya Chapter to receive the blessings on 22nd July 2020. The visit was also joined by Mrs. Chandima Ulugetenne, the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.
