Navy apprehends four persons for distilling and sale of illicit liquor
The Navy, during a mobile patrol conducted at Sethapola area in Puttalam on 22ndApril 2020 and search operations conducted in Wennapuwa area on 22nd and 23rd April 2020, raided three places used to distil and sale illicit liquor.

More disinfection programmes conducted by Navy at several locations
In its continuous efforts to control the spread of new coronavirus within the country, the Navy conducted several disinfection programmes at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation premises, Election Secretariat, National Hospital-Colombo and Bank premises in Colombo area on 21st and 22nd April 2020.

Navy apprehends a haul of 93kg Cannabis
Sri Lanka Navy apprehended two persons along with a haul of 93kg of cannabis which had been attempted to transport to the land by a dinghy, at the Kadeikadu South beach area in Vettalaikerni, Jaffna on 22nd April 2020.
