Illegal Sri Lankan immigrants from India held by Navy
SL Navy had received information about a boat which had embarked to the Delft island on 26th December 2019, with a group of Sri Lankan asylum seekers from India and Navy carried out a thorough operation for past few days regarding this matter.

Inter-Command Drill Competition successfully concludes at Sampoor
The Inter-Command Drill Competition - 2019 was held at the main parade ground in SLNS Vidura in Sampoor on 28th December 2019. The event which was conducted for the 9th consecutive year, was graced by the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe as the Chief Guest.

‘Munchee’ National Super League Volleyball Championship-2019 organized by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation came to close at the National Youth Services Council Indoor Stadium in Maharagama on 28th December 2019 and Navy women’s team secured the title of runners-up in super league division (women).
