Netherlands Ambassador in Sri Lanka meets Commander Southern Naval Area

The ambassador for Netherlands in Sri Lanka Mrs. Tanja Gonggrijp visited Southern Naval Command Headquarters on 23^rd October 2019.

The visiting ambassador was warmly welcomed by the Commander Southern Naval Area Rear Admiral Kassapa Paul and thereafter they held a cordial discussion. During their interaction, the role of the Southern Naval Command was briefed to the ambassador by the Area Commander. Later on, she visited an armoury of Onboard Security Team (OBST) operations. Mementos were also exchanged to mark this occasion.

Deputy Area Commander and the Defence attache to the Netherlands embassy in Sri Lanka were also present on this event.
