Two suspects held with 1.94kg of Kerala cannabis

The Navy in coordination with the Police Special Task Force held 02 suspects with 1.94kg of Kerala cannabis in Samodagama, Hambantota on 08^th September 2019.

The Southern Naval Command together with the Police Special Task Force of Gonnoruwa intercepted a suspicious double cab while conducting a search in Samodagama and found this stock of cannabis in the possession of the people in the vehicle.

The suspects are residents of Weeraketiya and Witharandeniya, aged 38. The suspects along with the cab and Kerala cannabis were handed over to the Hambantota Police for onward investigation.
