Navy holds five persons with drugs at Dikovita and Norochchole areas

Naval personnel held five persons with drugs on 23^rd July 2019.

Accordingly, naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command had searched four suspicious persons at Dikovita area in Wattala, found 10g of KG in their possession and they were apprehended. The suspects are residents of Chilaw and Negombo areas in ages between 20-38.

Further, Naval personnel attached to the Northwestern Naval Command apprehended a suspect who possessed 305mg of KG and 34mg of drug ICE, during a search carried out in Karamba area in Norochchole, on 23^rd July 2019.The suspect is a resident of Mampuri area, aged 36.

The suspects along with the drugs they possessed, were handed over to Wattala and Norochchole Police stations, respectively.
