Nine (09) Indian fishers apprehended for poaching in Sri Lankan waters
Nine (09) Indian fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan waters were apprehended by a Fast Gun Boat attached to the Northern Naval Command during a patrol in the Northern seas North West of Delft island, today (25th February).

Navy recovers stock of explosives used for illegal fishing
Naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command in coordination with the Mannar Police recovered a stock of explosives concealed in bushes during a search conducted in the general area of South Bar, Mannar yesterday (24th February).
