Navy renders assistance to find 529kg of tendu leaves
 

Based on information provided by the Navy, a group of Police officials attached to the Mannar Police had found 529kg of tendu leaves (used as Beedi wrappers) transferred by a lorry, on Nur Street in Mannar today (31^st January). The suspect had fled the scene leaving the lorry at the Jumma Mosque premises, Mannar. The Mannar Police is conducting further investigation into the incident.
