A dead body of an Indian fisherman has been recovered by the Navy, during a search conducted in the sea area off the Delft Island today (13th January).

Navy rescues a group of distressed Indian fishermen at sea
Sri Lanka Navy has commenced a dedicated rescue mission to locate a group of distressed Indian fishermen in Sri Lankan territorial waters. Eight (08) fishermen have been rescued as of now and the Navy is continuing a search operation in the sea area further.
