SLNHS bathymetric surveys focused on fishery harbour development in the North and North East save millions of rupees to government coffers
Sri Lanka Navy Hydrographic Service, on a request made by Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, completed bathymetric surveys in support of developing four fishery harbours in the North and North East of Sri Lanka.

A workshop organized by United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization on ‘Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported Fishing’ for the judges and officers of the Attorney General's Department was held at the Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda Auditorium at the Naval and Maritime Academy, Trincomalee on 24 March 2018.
