‘Thilina Malla’ winners receive lucrative prizes
The ceremony to award prizes of the Regular Naval Benevolent Fund (RNBF) and the Volunteer Naval Benevolent Fund (VNBF) Raffle Draw, ‘Thilina Malla’ was held at the Lighthouse Galley, SLNS Parakrama today (January 22) under the patronage of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe.

Eight persons engaged in illegal acts apprehended by Navy
Navy apprehended 8 persons engaged in illegal acts at several locations in the island during past few days. Accordingly, a person for possessing intoxicating drugs, a suspect with satinwood timber, 4 persons engaged in illegal fishing and another 2 persons with methamphetamine drug were held by the Navy.
