Chief of Air Staff of Indian Air Force calls on Commander of the Navy
 

The Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, who is on a official visit to Sri Lanka, called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimewan Ranasinghe at the Naval Headquarters today (11th December). Upon his arrival, the visiting Indian Air Force Chief was accorded with a Guard of Honour in accordance with naval traditions and he was welcome by the Commander of the Navy along with the senior Director Generals.

During the cordial discussions, they shared thoughts of long-standing relations of both countries and exchanged views on matters of bilateral interest and mutual importance as well. The courtesy meeting culminated with exchange of mementos symbolizing long-lasting goodwill and cooperation.

Indian Defence Attaché to Sri Lanka Captain Ashok Rao and Senior Officers of the Indian Air Force were also attend this occasion.
