Navy assists arrest of 02 persons attempting illegal sale of elephant pearls
During a search operation conducted on information received, naval intelligence personnel attached to the Navy Headquarters with the assistance of the Wildlife Department officials arrested two persons attempting to sell 08 elephant pearls illegally today (05 October 2017).

SLN arrests 04 Indian fishermen poaching in SL waters
Naval personnel on board SLN Gun Boat, Edithara II attached to the Northern Naval Command arrested four Indian fishermen along with a trawler for poaching in Sri Lankan waters 11.8 nautical miles west of Delft island yesterday (04 October 2017).
