Navy hands over 5 more fishing trawlers back to India
On completion of repair work, Sri Lanka Navy handed over 5 more Indian fishing trawlers back to India today (03 October 2017).

15 reverse osmosis plants bestowed on the public under the guidance of the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease
Utilizing the funds provided by the Presidential Task Force on Prevention of Chronic Kidney Disease, the Sri Lanka Navy, the Sri Lanka Army and the Sri Lanka Customs, another 15 reverse osmosis plants, designed by the Navy’s Research and Development Unit, were vested in the general public.
