Navy renders assistance to clean Ambathale water tanks

The Navy divers together with men from Rapid Action Boat Squadron carried out clean-up efforts at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant yesterday (29).

Accordingly, the naval personnel cleaned a total of 10 water intake tanks, strainers and distribution tanks which were clogged with mud, moss and other debris.

Ten divers from the Sri Lanka Navy Diving Unit and 12 personnel from the Rapid Action Boat Squadron made their collective contribution in this magnanimous cause.

The Sri Lanka Navy accomplished this noble task, as a part of taking yet another step forward of its social and community service programmes.
