Having taken over the Onboard Security Team Operations (OBST) from Avant Garde Maritime Services Ltd since 13th November 2015, the Sri Lanka Navy was able to earn Rs. 2.33 Billion for the Government of Sri Lanka to date.

Navy apprehends 3 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Walagamba located in Kuchchaweli in the Eastern Naval Command arrested 3 local fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities using explosives in the sea area off Poduwakattu yesterday (13).

Navy records a comprehensive win over CR & FC in Dialog Rugby League 2016/17
Navy Sports Club recorded another comprehensive victory over CR & FC Sports Club in a first round game of Dialog Rugby League 2016/17 held at Welisara Navy Grounds this evening (13). Accordingly, the navy won the game by 21 points to 13 points; scoring 3 tries and 3 conversions.
