Navy arrests 13 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Kashyapa located in Vakarai in the Eastern Naval Command arrested 9 local fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities using monofilament nets in the sea area off Muhathuvaram yesterday (6).

Two Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants declared open in Vavuniya and Nochchiyagama
