SLNS Sayura and SLNS Suranimila arrive at the Port of Colombo on completion of their visit in India
 

The two ships of the Sri Lanka Navy; SLNS Sayura and SLNS Suranimila which were on an a training and goodwill visit in India, arrived at the Port of Colombo today (29) on successful completion of their visit.

The ship's company of SLNS Sayura and SLNS Suranimila took part in wide range of programmes organised by the Indian Navy and also hosted a colourful reception onboard SLNS Sayura for the Indian counterparts on 26th October. The reception was graced by Chief of Staff for Southern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Ravindra Jayanti Nadkarni and Mrs. Nadkarni along with senior officers from the Indian Navy and their spouses. Having engaged in a joint naval exercise with the Indian Navy Ship Sunayna, the Indian ship bade farewell to the two visiting Sri Lanka Naval ships in accordance with naval traditions.

On their way to the Port of Colombo, the duo of SLN ships executed few training exercises such as; Man Overboard Exercise, Station  Keeping By Distance Line Exercise and Towing Exercise as well.
