During a ceremony held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute today (12) under the patronage of His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena, seventy five (75) naval personnel received houses constructed under Api Wenuwen Api and Sathviru Sanhinda housing schemes.

A fisherman along with an unauthorized net apprehended
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Ruhuna located in Tangalle belonging to the Southern Naval Command, in coordination with the Tangalle Police, arrested a fisherman along with an unauthorised net used for fishing, during a raid carried out in Nakulugamuwa area yesterday (11).
