Navy declares open a Reverse Osmosis Plant in Monaragala
As part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s community service programmes carried out with the intention of preventing Chronic Interstitial Nephritis in Agricultural Communities (CINAC), a Reverse Osmosis system was installed at premises of Kahakurullanpalassa Junior School in Monaragala for the use of the school children and general public in the area.

A woman drowning in Gopalpuram Sea is rescued
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijayaba in Nilaweli and the lifesavers of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard rescued a woman who was drowning in the seas off Gopalpuram yesterday (12).
