Navy installs a Reverse Osmosis Plant in Kebithigollewa
As part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s community service programmes carried out with the intention of preventing Chronic Interstitial Nephritis in Agricultural Communities (CINAC), a Reverse Osmosis system was installed in Gonahathdenawa, Kebithigollewa for the community use and it was declared open by Commander North Central Naval Area, Commodore Merill Wickramasinghe yesterday (2).

Navy apprehends 23 local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing activities
Naval personnel attached to Fast Attack Craft P 4444 and P 4445, deployed in the Eastern Naval Command, arrested 13 fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing practices in the sea area off Kokkuthuduwai yesterday (2).
