Navy arrests 2 fishermen while transferring sea cucumbers illegally
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijaya located in Kalpitiya in Northwestern Naval Command arrested two local fishermen who were illegally transferring sea cucumbers in the coastal area of Erambugodella yesterday (23).

Navy and Coast Guard personnel rescue 3 persons drowning in the sea off Gopalpuram
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijayaba in Nilaweli and the lifesavers of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard rescued 3 persons who were drowning in the seas off Gopalpuram on 23rd August 2016.
