Winning one of the biggest defence contracts in the naval history, Sri Lanka Navy sold 9 small patrol craft, indigenously built by the Inshore Patrol Craft Project of the Navy established at Welisara, to the Nigerian Government today (06) at its’ premises. Navy clinches the overall championship in “Trinco Blu Sailing Regatta”
The Sri Lanka Navy sailing team, represented by Chief Petty Officer WAR Nishantha and Leading Seaman MGMU Gunawardana, clinched the overall championship in the “Trinco Blu Sailing Regatta” organized by the Royal Colombo Yacht Club in Trincomalee on 29th and 30th of April 2016.
