Sri Lanka Navy Divers Training in Guam
A twenty member Sri Lanka Navy diving squad is presently undergoing diving training with the US Navy sailors from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 5 in Guam.

Flag Officer Commanding in Chief of the Southern Naval Command of the Indian Navy attends the wreath – laying ceremony at IPKF Memorial
The Flag Officer Commanding in Chief of the Southern Naval Command of the Indian Navy, Vice Admiral and Mrs. Girish Luthra who are currently in Sri Lanka on a six-day official visit, arrived at the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Memorial in Battaramulla on 15th April 2016 to attend the wreath – laying ceremony and pay tribute to the Indian war heroes.

Indian Navy’s “First Training Squadron” arrives at the Port of Colombo
The Indian Navy’s “First Training Squadron” which is comprised of Indian Naval Ship (INS) Tir, INS Sujatha and Coast Guard Ship Varuna, arrived at the Port of Colombo today (15) on a training visit.
