Navy organizes friendly sporting events for the crew of USS Blue Ridge
The Sri Lanka Navy organized a series of friendly sporting events for the ship crew of USS Blue Ridge which arrived in Sri Lanka on 26th March, to strengthen the relationship among the naval personnel of two navies.

Navy arrests thirty three local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Buwaneka in North Central Naval Command arrested 33 persons along with illegally caught approximately 1500 sea cucumbers, 3 fishing dhows and a FGD in the general area of Anthonipuram on 26th March 2016.
