On receipt of information naval personnel attached to SLNS Therapuththa located in North Western Naval Command recovered 187 kilograms of Kerrala Cannabis concealed under a scrub near a fishing hamlet in Silawathurai, today (15).

Navy beat Police in the Clifford Cup Rugby Quarter-Finals
Navy Sports Club secured their semi-final position when they beat Police Sports Club by 19 points (2 tries and 3 penalties) to 10 points (1 try, 1 conversion and 1 penalty) in the Clifford Cup Knock-out Rugby Tournament fourth-quarter final match played at the Race Course in Reid Avenue on 14th March 2016.
