Royal Thai Naval Ship "HTMS Pattani" arrives at the Port of Colombo
The Royal Thai Naval Ship "HTMS Pattani" arrived at the Port of Colombo on 29th January 2016 on a goodwill visit. The ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions on her arrival.

Navy arrests twenty one local fishermen engaged in illegal fishing
Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijaya in Kalpitiya arrested twenty one local fishermen with 6 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing using a Surukku net in the Norochcholai and Udappuwa sea areas on 27th January 2016.
