The Chief Hydrographer of the Sri Lanka Navy, Rear Admiral Sisira Jayakody and senior officials of the Survey Department of Sri Lanka inspected the Bench Mark (BM) Network established by the SLN Hydrographic Survey Unit in the Nothern Naval Area (NNA) on 25th Sep 2015.

A patient reaches ashore with SLN assistance
In response to a request made to the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Colombo manned by the Sri Lanka Navy, an SLN craft rendered assistance to bring an acutely ill patient who had been onboard the merchant tanker, Horin Trader, ashore for emergency medical treatment on 29th September 2015.

SLN assists SL Coast Guard to arrest 07 Indian fishermen poaching on Sri Lankan waters
Sri Lanka Navy assisted the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to arrest a fishing dhow with 07 Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters in the seas north of Baththalangunduwa in Kalpitiya on 28th September 2015.
