Naval troops arrest two persons with 740 Tramadol capsules
Naval troops attached to SLNS Kelani of the Western Naval Command arrested two persons who were transporting 740 Tramadol capsules in a three-wheeler. The arrest was made near Wellaweediya beach on 31st August 2015 with the assistance of Negambo Police.

SLN arrests 16 Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters
SLN craft attached to the Northern Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 16 Indian fishermen and 3 Indian fishing trawlers engaged in poaching in the Sri Lankan waters on 31st August 2015.
