Sri Lanka Navy conducts Naval exercise with Indian Navy off Trincomalee
On completion of their three-day visit, the Indian Naval Ships “TIR”, “KESARI”, “SUDARSHANI” and Indian Coast Guard Ship “VARUNA” joined with four Sri Lankan Naval Ships and six Fast Attack Craft in the seas off Trincomalee for a combined three-hour naval exercise in the morning hours on 30th March 2015.

Commander of the Navy declares open NMA's Navigation & Merchant Marine Training School building
The Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera declared open the newly constructed building to house the Navigation and the Merchant Marine Training Schools at the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on 28th March 2015.
