Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy
His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has been pleased to appoint Rear Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne, WV, RWP & Bar, RSP, USP, ndc, psn, as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy with effect from 07th July 2014.
