Navy renders assistance to find 529kg of tendu leaves
Based on information provided by the Navy, a group of Police officials attached to the Mannar Police had found 529kg of tendu leaves (used as Beedi wrappers) transferred by a lorry, on Nur Street in Mannar today (31st January).

Six (06) Indian trawlers released from Sri Lankan custody
Six (06) more Indian fishing trawlers held by the Sri Lanka Navy for poaching in Sri Lankan territorial waters were released from Sri Lankan custody today (31st January). The handing over of these trawlers was done with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
