Southeastern Naval Command organizes blood donation drive to commemorate 67th Navy anniversary
 

As part of one of the many magnanimous efforts to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy, the Southeastern Naval Command had organized a blood donation drive at the naval base SLNS Mahanaga yesterday (30 December). The programme was organized under the guidance of Commander Southeastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe.

The blood donation camp which drew a large number of naval personnel to donated their blood had been conducted by the blood bank staff of the Ampara District General Hospital in collaboration with Navy’s medical assistants and doctors attached to the Southeastern Naval Command.
